A brief history, I joined CKC in 1962. I served in the Royal Canadian Navy prior to serving as a Customs Enforcement Officer until 1975. Have been involved in the world of dogs since that time as a kennel owner/operator, trainer/handler, showing dogs from Mexico to Alaska, and Europe to Hawaii. Retired from handling professionally in 1990 and started Western Dog Shows Ltd. as a family business. My shares in the company as of January 1st,
2003 have been transferred to my daughter Kim, although I will continue to
assist in the family business without benefit of wages. |
